In order to avoid power figures calculation (I am a Stryd User and I am happy there) I wanted to change the connection type from ANT to BLE. This menu is not there on my Fenix 7s. I am on 9.35.
Am I the only one with this problem? Thanks
Mattia

I answered you on your other thread:
As I said, there is no option to switch from ANT to BT, but if you do as I suggest, it should solve your problem.
Thanks but it doesn’t work for me
On your watch (when connected to HRM) go to Sensors & Accessories , choose your HRM device and you can change whether to connect to Ant+ or BLE
That’s exactly my problem: i don’t have this choice on my watch.

Just a note of caution: unlike with ANT+, the HRM-Pro may not be sending all data over BLE. From the document Bluetooth Fitness Sensor Data Is Missing or Not Correct | Garmin Support
ANT+ is the preferred way of getting data from sensors, as ANT+ is more mature and more complete than BLE. Generally, only simple data like heart rate will be supported when a sensor is paired through BLE. For example:
An HRM-Pro may transmit heart rate for the activity but will not transmit running dynamics.
A Vector or Rally power meter may transmit power for the activity but may not transmit cycling dynamics.
Some more details also in the document Best Practices for Connecting Sensors to Your Garmin Device | Garmin Customer Support
I don’t need running dynamics as I get them from stryd.
Strange, does the HRM have latest firmware?
I deleted my HRM pro, and then re added it, and only selected the ANT+ connection and did not add the BLE connection.
Got Full running dynamics and my BLE connection is free for my AppleTV and Apple watch.
