VO2Max: "No trend", probably also resulting in wrong training status?

For the last couple of days the beautiful new feature of VO2 Max trend displays nothing. No line, "No trend" in the summary page. VO2Max itself seems to update from Edge 530 fine. It might be the reason why my F7 shows Training Status as "Recovery" while Edge shows "Productive". Has anyone experienced something like this lately?

Edit: OK - I've got one theory - Fenix started to use running VO2 Max suddenly (which is weird, since with a broken 5th metatarsal I had been barely walking, let alone running for the last two months). I can't see how a reading of non-cycling VO2 max could even be obtained and in a situation where my only fitness activity is on wheels.

What does the Cycling Training Status tell in GC Web at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/report/-1/cycling/last_four_weeks ? Or are you already referring about that report?

It depends if I pick Edge (Productive) or Fenix (Recovery). It does show "Running" in the heading for the Fenix, but the trend line below is captioned Vo2Max (cycling) also there. Also, there is has been no running activity recorded on the Fenix in more than two months (so the two Vo2Max lines are the same).

Do you have the Physio TrueUp option enabled on both devices, and do you sync both devices before and after every activity (better twice), so that they actually can sync the training data between them?

Sure - that was the first thing I tried. Also, the latest reading of the Vo2Max does seem to propagate from Edge to Fenix (there are some quirks on the training load components, but they normally end up synchronised after a while).

Hm, I am afraid I can't help much more. If nobody else peeks in, I suggest to contact the Support, and report it to them.

However, if I understand it well, you currently only cycle, so why not simply just checking the Training Status on the Edge report?
