Storm alert and barometer chart

I have had the same issue with the Epix.  Garmin told me to clean the Baro ports which I did, no noticeable difference.  They suggested a factory reset but I’d rather wait for the next update than go through all the setup again.

I’m having the same exact issue. I’ve been getting Storm Alerts 2-4x a day for a couple weeks now. Incredibly annoying. Looking at the baro chart on the device and it usually has stair steps in it. Garmin replaced my Fenix 7X and the new device is doing the EXACT same thing. 

This is most probably software related. However we need people with similar issues replying here in order to attract Garmin attention.

However, prior to v9.33 I was not receiving storm  alerts so frequently and i had never seen such a baro chart.

With the new version, I  get both unfortunately 

Garmin - Chris, I've been seeing the same thing as bellostom.  Prior to updating to 9.33 I rarely had any storm alerts and the baro chart was much smoother in pressure changes. Since updating it has been daily with constant steep drops in pressure while just sitting a home. I turned off the storm alerts at this point.

I have a suspicion that the garmin connect app has to do something with these anomalies, unlikely as it sounds (there were other altimeter issues in the past linked with the app).

I say this because when I go to sleep I have my phone on airplane mode and I have never seen the baro chart being spiky. So, this morning I disabled phone connection on the watch and indeed the chart is looking nice. No storm alarm as well

I will be monitoring this for the next 2 days. If anyone can also check, that would help.

I have had the same issue only since I upgraded my Fenix 7XSS to Firmware V9.33.  I did not have this issue previously.  I typically get a notice sometime around 10-11 AM and another one later.  In Garmin Connect (iOS) under Notifications and Alerts / System Alerts / Barometer you can set the sensitivity for the Storm Alert. I changed to 6 mb per 3hr which is the least sensitive setting and still get the falls alerts.  This is definitely related to v9.33 firmware and as the other user indicated I suspect related to Garmin Connect also.
