It's been like this for about a week now?
Any idea what could be the issue. I never put a whole lot of faith in the training status, but it only saying "No Status" is even less useful!

How many workouts of this type did you do within a week, and before? Training status needs a certain number of specific workouts to display. Though my training status was once also stuck at no status for 3 weeks on my old Fenix 6s.
I see the same with my Garmin Fenix 6X. Happened after my run on Monday, had worked fine for months before that. Running 3 times a week, and other activities in between.
Suspect something wrong at Garmin or an update, have also seen messages in the Garmin Connect app reg. some sync issue.
Mine randomly started working again.
I never got around to messing with it, but it's back now. No clue
Just got my 7 SS and I am now having the same issue, no Training Status. I have done 3 runs and 2 strength workouts since I got my 7. Not sure if its related but there was about a month when I didnt have any training data because my 6 Pro stopped working and I was using another brand watch. Anyway, would love to know how to get Training Status back.
Same as well. Seemed to have coincided with the latest firmware update. I can still see most things, but the Load Focus is gone. Exercise Load and Acute Load still work, mind
Mine also reappeared after about a week, seems like all the values was reset so the Acute Training Load (Optimal range) fell from 850 to 250.
I didn't do anything for it to reappear, so probably something on Garmin's side.
Same here. 3 weeks no activity due to surgery. Trend is good by now no status. In fact I cannot even fine the status in the app either where it shows Recovery, Maintaining, etc. What the heck is going on. I know they pushed another Garmin app update and everything has been whacked. No response from Garmin. Shocker!!
Guys, you need to train for a number of days before it'll give you a status.
It can't ascertain your recovery or training load if you're not actually logging activities. I'm pretty sure this is all in the manual.
When you look at the VO₂max report, how old is your last VO₂max value? A fresh and regularly updated VO₂max value is necessary for Training Status. If there is no recent VO₂max value, do a run (or cycling with a powermeter) meeting the conditions for a VO₂max value, and the Training Status will reappear again.
More details here:
Mine finally showed maintaining today after 2.5 Weeks of running/walking. It’s like it was recording but not showing up. The app is now displaying it too. I think its based on your past average in the VO2 activity like running or cycling. Make sure Power is enabled in the activity too. I’ve been going slower than before working back up after surgery. I think now that there’s a consistent base that it will start tracking. Garmin says has to be one VO2 activity to show up. But that’s to keep it going. If you have taken off for a while and have not Pause Training activity I think it has to recalculate it again. Hope that helps. Also power cycle your watch as well.
