Strange GPS track issue

It happened to me too

I am on 9.33.

Interestingly I have done several cycling activities in the last couple of days inbetween my two runs and not had a problem. 

I run every other day and it happened once. about one week after updating to 9.33

I had this a few days ago. I've never had this issue before either with 7X or 6X. This was in All Satellites mode. 8.37 firmware. 

With the exception of the first and last it looks like you have “lock on Road” set (under Settings->Map) so it is jumping from paths and trails to the nearest road.  Hard to tell on the first one as it looks like just standard gps wander when stationary (don’t know the scale. Last one ?? 

Does the "lock on road" option affect the recorded distance or it's only for better visualization of the track?

Hey, yeah thanks that could well be it. I have toggled that off and will see if it makes a difference. 

Your recorded distance is coming from your GPS track recorded.
