Custom alerts

For my longer rides/hikes, I want to add a custom alert to remind me to drink/eat (which I usually leave too long!). I can see timer, distance and other alerts in the list, but cannot see "custom" alerts to which you can set the text to pop up. Manual says that certain alerts are only available for certain activities but I don't know which activities allow custom alerts. I could copy that activity and rename it to Ride or Hike.

Settings > Activities & Apps > Hike > Hike Settings > Alerts> Add New > Custom ( this is the 1st) > Select any of these: Drink, Eat, Turn Around, Go Home, Custom, Read The Manual ( ). The same applies for road bike activity. Now it's your turn to report back which activities have this option out of the 1000 we have available on our watches!

Thanks. I figured out that Custom is only available to be set up directly on the watch, and not via the Garmin Connect app on my phone (which is what I use 99% of the time). It may take me while to see if it is available on all 1000 activities ;-).
