no heartrate and stress data since 9.33 update

Seems like a problem 10 months ago with the Fenix 6. Restarting / soft resetting did not help. Heart rate and stress is reliably not recorded while the watch "thinks" that I am sleeping.

But also within the day there are hours long periods where nothing gets measured. No problems before the 9.33 update.

interestingly heart rate and stress data is visible on the watch itself. Dropouts started on 22-09-01 - so maybe one day before 9.33 was rolled out?

maybe this correlates to a phone switch - in the last 24hrs I used the old one and this night got tracked correctly. Maybe the firmware update was just a coincidence..

I have the same or similar issue currently going on with my new fenix 7 sapphire solar. I’m working with support now to see what they can do.

I switched back to the old phone and shut off the new one completely. Next day all data was there. Did that one more day, all was good.

Then "back" to the new phone, again data was missing. The old phone was switched off during the day.

Next day (new phone, old phone always off) data was captured correctly, but today, sleep data was captured, yet after "waking up" the next 2+ hours are missing in Connect (heart rate graph on watch is continuous).

If you hear anything regarding this, would be nice, if you could post an update here.

Interesting. I noticed that my watch won’t even display a hr reading when it’s messed up. It’s quite literally not picking up anything at all.

When I go to the wrist based hr it’s toggled on. I can toggle it off and back on and it’ll begin recording again but it will randomly shut off. I’m not entirely sure what triggers it.

I’ll hopefully hear from them today and I’ll update you here if I have any answer or insights.

Ok, seems to be a different problem then. Stress and HR data is without gaps in graphs on the watch, but it does not get synced correctly.

Oh I see. Yeah it’s different. My HR just abruptly stops recording on the device so there is just no data to sync with in the first place

ok, today again - no data at all while sleeping for HR and stress in app, but continuous on watch.. Will need to contact support.

I had some issues that I could resolve by entering an new value for max heart rate. Some how this maximum was lost in the update (just like my customized watch face and a bunch of other settings).

Interestingly - I think there was an GC app update (iOS) yesterday? This morning stress while sleeping was zero - still is. But stress for day (in App and watch) shows values. Up to the night before still showed stress during sleep. Well, even worse - I now saw there is actually data in the stress graph within sleep, but the overall value is just 0.
