I thought I'd try something just to gather some data. There might be some question as to whether the battery drain issue, or issues, are related to Android, Strava, or something else. It appears that the Android app was updated at near the same time as the 9.33. So for S&Gs, let's try this.
1 - list your battery drain in % / 24 hrs
2 - your phone's OS
3 - Are you using Strava
4 - are you using Strava Segments
5 - have you tried the factory reset
6 - 3rd party or built-in watch face
I'm not on android and my battery went from 100% to 33% in one day of me puttering around the house.

i think i post about this problems on another page here, but for me bad batt.. since updating f/w - with 7x
so about 6 days ago..52%...100% to 52% was only a few days and now 52% then 0% in less than 1 wk.
52% to 0% is 6 days and no use - no gps, or activities,watch not even on wrist - reset so no phone connect. i do not have strava (no summat subscribe so no strava segments?)
only use garmin watchface, as you can see.
Even in sun, watch go to Critical warning in maximum power save selection today
then in sun / low power mode, it go critical - not even in use, just on rock in sun
