Firmware 9.33 Fenix 7 stuck in boot loader

Hi there,

after a couple of days 9.33 worked fine (I installed although the beta release) it begun to stuck in various menus or witget.
Usually a reboot fixed the problem.
Yesterday that work around didn’t help so I forced a hard reset.
Now it’s in an eternal loop and the only screen that appears is the FENIX 7 logo.
grateful for any help or advise

I think it's time to contact Garmin support.

I've run into this a few times - most of the time I can fix it by turning the watch off, then plugging it into a PC and letting it boot while plugged in…

Press and hold the light button until your watch goes off. After a couple of seconds try to power on the watch.
If it gets into the previously reported status then you should connect it to a power outlet or computer with the charging cable.

Thx for the suggestion. I’ve tried all kinds of Hardware reset and reboot…

Regrettably it’s even impossible to do a backdating.
I have the software on my pc but the Fenix is not recognized on the USB port.
so it’s not possible to access to the memory and software folders…

Sorry to hear that...In this case I'd try to enter to service mode and try to boot from there.

Power off the device
Press and hold the down button
Keep holding the down button while pressing the power/light button
When you see the Garmin Fenix logo, release the power button
Keep holding the down button until you see the diagnostic screen
You can cycle through the various screens using the back button
To get out of the diagnostic menu press and hold the power button until the unit powers off
Press the power button to turn the unit on and into normal operating mode

I even have tried that one.
Today I wrote to the Garmin support…

I’ll let you know if there is any other fix for that situation.

Have you tried booting it up while it is plugged into external power?

Today I had a very friendly conversation with the Garmin support team.
They explained me that I have to change the watch.
I’m sorry that I have to renounce a couple of weeks this great watch but the same time I’m really happy that Garmin has this great customer service/support.
