My Garmin eTrex 32x allows for the sharing of waypoints, routes and tracks to be shared wirelessly (using ANT+) within a few feet of other Garmin devices. I have not found this option available on the Fenix watch even though it appears to have the hardware to do it. This seems to be an overlooked feature for an outdoor enthusiast watch as you may not have cell signal to share Connect data, but being able to share waypoints, routes and tracks with other Garmin devices and users directly (without cell service and/or connect app) would be nice. If I overlooked an app that exists in the connect IQ store please share the app.
