Faulty DLC coating on Tactix 7 pro

My Tactix 7 pro is 3 months old,not even worn every day during this time, and it looks like it is 3 YEARS old.The DLC coating has rubbed off all around the outer edge of the bezel.

i havent scratched it on anything.It just started to disappear, showing the bare titanium.

Customer support have dismissed my query acknowledging that this is NORMAL wear and tear.

Does this mean that the super dooper diamond dlc coating lasts a couple of months on a £1100 watch ?

Absolutely disgusted by garmin.And I am a customer of many years and owner of numerous garmin devices.

I've seen alot of reports on Facebook of the bezel wearing thin easily in the Tactix group,(I help moderate) I don't know if the coating is faulty or the shape of the bezel plays a part or both... I do think it's pretty bad that in a couple of months the coating can wear off in places.

Can you point me in the direction of the bare titanium in any of those pics?

The white/grey line around the whole outer edge of the bezel.Visible in all the pics.

You think so? I don't see it. And if it's around the entire bezel edge and only there that's a shockingly specific flaw.

Anyway, I've had mine for 2 months now, wear it about 22hrs a day and have no such issues

The sharp edge/profile of the bezel may have something to do with this.My 2 year old Tactix delta looks much better though.There are some marks and tiny scratches but nothing like this.The DLC on my delta appears to be of much better quality.
