Watch freezes using Trackback

Anybody else having issues with Trackback?..or is it working for you?

I use walk activity, walk for about a mile, stop, then choose trackback, then route.... the watch instantly gives me the route back then freezes, I have to hard reset by holding the light button, then I have to stop navigation when it's loaded again....I have used trackback successfully today, but for some reason in this one location the watch will freeze, I'll keep testing different locations.

Just seeing if this is a bug, maybe a weird location, or a mistake on the OSM based map?,.. or I'll send my Fenix back to Garmin for a replacement after testing some more.

I'm on 8.39 using Talkytoaster, Fenix 7x solor Sapphire one week old.

Ps.. See pics of map disappearing after trackback is selected using route....

And music widget in the activity froze and not central... Only a hard reset will solve.

Have you tried the same route using the Garmin maps?

No not yet... I haven't had the chance, it would be unfortunate if Talkytoaster didn't work, I've never used garmin maps since the early Fenix 5x days...buy its important to test so I will see if they work better in that particular spot.

I haven't been able to reproduce the navigation failure anywhere else that that actual spot... I thought it was group track at first picking up my near connections.. maybe it wasn't implemented well on the Fenix 7 range yet.. So I disabled group track under livetrack settings and did the same route again and it happened in exactly the same spot....

I've walked in other places and had no issue... So I need to do more testing I don't have enough data yet.

Is it working for you,do you use a third party map to trackback with?

I've used third party OSM maps in the past with my f6 without issue. I haven't had a need to deviate from the Topoactive maps (North America) on my f7. I use TracBack quite often both on the f7 and haven't seen any problems.
