Look at the picture. Does anyone else have larger space at 6 than 18 between the line/number and the solar panel?

Trying to decide if my panel are not quite in center and if I should return it.

  • Some folks who buy the Fenix are watchheads (kinda like sneakerheads). The aim isn't to do any training with it or use it for it's intended purpose, but rather just to own something nice, something that provides them with a certain look that they can show off to friends.

These kinds of folks scrutinise the heck out of whatever they buy and become deeply upset, almost to the point taking it personally whenever they find some aspect of a product that they feel isn't perfect. We've had two instances of this in the Garmin community in the last few years - bluelight-gate was by far the worst, and DLC-scratch-gate.

So whilst folks like the OP break out the micrometer, find a nanometer discrepancy and have their entire world crash down, the rest of us just keep on putting down the miles on our bashed up, scratched to *** but much beloved objects of pain that we call the Fenix. What and weird, diverse and interesting bunch we are Smile

  • I can understand expecting a certain level of quality when buying an expensive item. I think you fall more into the camp of  Garmin watches are tools, not jewels :)

Definitely biased in this regard. They've got a 5-ish year life before they're consigned to e-waste. You might as well use the heck out them to maximise your fitness and have a few adventures in that time.

They're gonna get scratched and beat up, but they'll end up giving you back more in experiences than they've cost you in dollars.
