fenix 7x vs epix 2 buttons?

I have both epix 2 and fenix 7x.

The epix 2 buttons are perfect (press and no sound)

fenix 7x buttons have this two stages of depth and sometimes crack or pop faint sound.

Will this subside with usage ?

I don't have a fenix 7, but I do have a fenix 6S and I know exactly the feeling you're talking about. My epix buttons don't do that, they each make one solid click. I have had other Garmins with that same double click and it never caused any problems with the functionality of the watch so I would not worry too much about it.
