Wrong elevation on imported gpx

Hi everyone,

I am a happy new owner of a Fenix 7X. I have tried to test the PacePro feature on an imported GPX file (downloadable when clicking on the "Exportovat" button on Mapy.cz link). In the original Mapy.cz source and in the Online gpx editor I can see this rather significant steep second hill. But it's not present on the Garmin Connect import so I am afraid the PacePro instruction are rather useless in this case.

What is the reason for Garmin connect to ignore the elevation? Is there way to fix it somehow?

Depend on the elevation information in the gpx file. If that’s wrong it’s going to be wrong in Garmin.

There have been problems with this again and again: either too much elevation when importing or too little.

i don’t think it’s a Fenix problem, as it impacts may devices. I had problems like that on a forerunner 945 before.

my solution or workaround is using the komoot connect iq app and website and importing from there.
