No broadcast heart rate during activity?

In my opinion Garmin removed the intuitiveness of broadcast heart rate that was a default in Fenix 6. I could simply press the top left button on the 6 and would then see the wheel of icons and select it.   Perhaps someone here will reply and tell me that this is customizable but I’m busy and don’t have time to fiddle.  I would just like the same Fenix 6 user experience for this.  

In the time used for writing this, you could have put the "Send HF" control to your "wheel of icons" for several times.

It was a default to have broadcast heart rate on the wheel on the Fenix 6.  It was changed on the Fenix 7. I'm busy, I want the watch to work and do what it did on the 6 and the 7 is different, and glitchy.   For example, it unilaterally changes functionality without asking you when Garmin pushes an update.  I have more to share which I will do when I start a new thread.

Why fixing? Fenix 7 is not a Fenix 6. So some things are different. It's not fixing. It's customizing. Happy reporting :)

Your instructions don't work, just like many functions on the Fenix 7

This is a user forum and any Garmin rep is clearly identified as such. I do not have a degree in computer science like you do but, following the instruction in the link AgentMax provided, it took me 30 seconds to add  the broadcast HR control. It may not work the way you wish/want but it works. If you want it changed send a feature request to Garmin.
