My Compass is not working [sticking on South]. I've tried to calibrate it... I am making circle 8's like a crazy person -- I've played with AUTO / GPS / MAGNETIC, etc... options with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks!

Just force shut down the watch (hold top left button until the watch turns off) then turn on and try to calibrate the compass again. This works for me.
I believe you have the frozen compass bug - see this thread.
I wonder if you also have the same compass inaccuracies or drifting as I do once you do manage to calibrate your compass after a shut-down/restart…

Thank you!! I'll give it a try :-)
Thanks!! I did compare the compass settings before the mishap/freeze with my Garmin Mini 2. It appeared to be accurate? I'll take a another look and if I see anything odd I'll let you know.
Fyi...Garmin folks are well aware of the compass freeze/inaccuracy and the unsuccessful calibration. If you would like to be added to the existing ticket opened for these issues you might go to the dedicated thread linked above and highlight Garmin Chris' name letting him know you would like to be added.
Thanks!! I appreciate your keen insight. I'll jump over and place my name on Chris' ticket right now
Hello all. I did that kind of procedure which helped me to make compass to work properly. Completly turn off the watch. Turn on, When it turn on imediatly hold back button until "reset default settings" menu appear and choose yes. configure watch again and it should help with compass. I tried this fix on Sight and go and it shows right direction.
Hello everyone, I think I solved it. However, what I don't understand is that Garmin has been approaching it the same way for several years - calibrate the compass, it still doesn't work? RMA watch. So it's simple, I've found that the locking mechanism on the strap will magnetize, for whatever reason. All you have to do is demagnetize. Either at any watch store or buy a demagnetizer, an ordinary demagnetizer for tools like screwdrivers is enough. Otherwise, try to find "Mystery of the Demagnetizer | What's inside? How does it work?" on YouTube.
So the procedure:
Take off the straps, demagnetize them, calibrate the watch without the strap, or restart it by holding the upper left button for a long time.
