Compass Lock in ABC widget

Just got a new Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar and am playing around with features. In the ABC glance I selected a compass lock - it worked firm but now the compass seem to be permanently stuck in the ‘lock’ - compass is active but constantly displays the deviation to the selected bearing. The fenix 7 manual doesn’t cover how to unlock it. There is no option to unlock in the compass options menu. No combination of keys allows me to ‘unlock’ the compass ‘lock’. Turning off/on didn’t resolve this. Anyone have any ideas?

Doesn’t this work: go on the compass page, press start button: unlock compass

Thanks for getting back - I have now managed to unlock the compass heading! I am new to this device and had only been accessing the compass thru the ABC glance - thru which you are able to apply a compass lock but not then able to remove it. After your reply I went looking for the compass specific glance (I had not got this in my main glances menu). Thru the compass specific glance the unlock feature is one of the options. Thanks!

After further messing around with this it looks like if you lock a compass bearing thru the ABC glance the unlock option is there initially however if you navigate back to the watch face and then renter the ABC glance the compass lock is still applied but the option to unlock has disappeared - and can only be found in the compass specific glance. That how it seems for me anyway.
