Anyone uses Garmin + MyFitnessPal with MultiSport?
If yes, can you check this and tell me, what happens in your case?
When I do a multisport, let's say running, strength, walking then the following is transmitted to the app YAZIO (which I prefer to use than MyFitnessPal):
- kcal Workout1
- kcal Workout 2
- kcal Workout 3
- kcal Whole Multisport
Which results in a duplicate calculation, but is fairly easy to solve since you can delete each entry.
Now YAZIO has to fix this bug and it fits.
Anyway, I took the opportunity to look at the data in MyFitness-Pal and there comes out only unfug. While YAZIO knows the individual activities, Garmin transmits to MyFitnessPal "Garmin Connect calorie adjustment and activities, but neither the values of the activities, nor the total number of kcal has even close to what to do with the data in Garmin Connect.
For example, in Garmin today I have an activity with 476 kcal (multisport), in MyFitnesspal I have 307 kcal, consisting as 2 kcal from running and 304 from 8648 steps.
I do not know if it is because of multisport, but I was also not able to create a manual activity (1 hour running, no multisport) to get these values copied 1 to 1 in MyFitnesPal, because then the "calorie adjustment" subtracts kcal.
In the example:
761 kcal as Garmin Connect, plus -457 negative kcal also from Garmin result in 307 total kcal from workouts, whereas in Garmin Connect it is 1231.
How is that with you?
