After unpacking my brand new fenix (solar saphire) I found a weird abnormality in the solar panel design. Not sure if my mind is playing tricks on me, but my inner perfectionist is getting crazy about it.
I found that the solar panel has a asymmetrical design. The solar 'ring' seems to be thicker on the right side of the watch than it is on the left side. I was able to confirm this assumption by measuring the thickness of the solar ring in different ways and I found the same design at different fenix 7 watches. I think its not a production quality issue and it's not an optical illusion... See this image in my Google Drive where I did a digital measurement in pixels about the solar ring: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pgmo96BcwT1_ktwz5Fcc0KS8H0RbYc_e/view?usp=sharing
Can anybody confirm this?
Does anybody have an explanation for this assymetrical design? Maybe its due to technical reasons?
