I personally love my Fenix 7 Solar Sapphire but from a software stand-point, It's killing me. I would absolutely hate to ditch my F7SS but this 955 Solar is my ahuizotl..... I'm having extreme FOMO.

You wont use 95% of the features on any watch regardless of what you think.

I value reliability over new features any day.

like mention on many websites, and like it happened on all fenix in the past, most of these features will appear on a fenix.

Can you wait, let's say 3 months ? if yes, wait...if not, then why did you bought a fenix 7 at first place ?

for the run power alone, get a stryd... it will cost less than the loss you would suffer by selling ;) and regretting later when the fenix get all features mentionned finally... so selling the 955 to get back to fenix 7.. ;)

In the long run (pun intended! lol) the F7 will get more updates and at a regular cadence. Not to mention the level of refinement of the software between the two platforms. Fenix series is on another level. I’m coming from a 945 and took ages to get all serious bugs corrected. Same is happening with 945LTE and will happen with 955. 955 features will come to the F series soon enough. They added them to the Forerunner series first just to sell more units.... Read ALL 955 reviews, not just the major reviewers. The 955 has serious issues and inconsistencies. Touch has been badly implemented (for now), etc... no thanks!!

You're right. After seeing FR955 review, I'm glad that I didn't sell my F7 and buy FR955. I'll be very upset. So now I'm (im)patiently waiting for new metrics to be implemented.

Same here. I really really want the HRV metrics.... I used to wear a Whoop. It's a huge plus! Cannot wait!!!

I have returned my 955 for this reason. Will continue with my F6 and might order a F7 when 20% discounts appear

I actually use almost 95% of the features beyond activity profiles on a daily basis. I use it to the max. I agree most don't... but I do.
