watches are limited to 200 points, so it is advised to split it in 2 first.

Now about the question : you can import it into plotaroute for example, then export it as a fit file.

Then put this fit file into garmin/newfiles directly. This will do the job.

you may try with garmin/newfiles directly first, to see what it does (never tried this one).

Yep. You can use any software that generate a fit file that includes clue_points ( the ones that will show on up ahead) but the trick is always to copy that fit file directly on Garmin/NewFiles otherwise Garmin Connect will mess with your course adding his own ones.

Unbelievable that there is no way to import waypoints into course points with Garmin Connect and on the other hand, Garmin explore imports those points but doesn’t export it to the watch as course points (but rather as waypoints)

garmin should just tell these two teams to communicate and implement these features.

probably was possible all the time but they wait for every new model to give us a nudge to buy the newest one, with a feature that wasn’t there before.
