Please split Topoactive Americas North

Please redirect me to another forum if appropriate, but I would really like to see Topoactive Americas North split into multiple maps, the way Europe is done. The newest version is over 10gb; combined with the built-in golf maps, it mostly fills the 16gb of the Fenix 7 and Fenix 7 Solar.

I think it could usefully be split into 4 maps:

US/Canada East
US/Canada Central
US/Canada West
Mexico/Central American/Caribbean

Many users including myself would be happy with 1 or 2 of these regions, totaling 4-7gb, then we'd have the flexibility to add other domestic or overseas regions when we travel.

I absolutely agree that needs to be done. These maps are needlessly oversized for the likely geographic usage and relevance.

It's similar with Europe, we have to have the whole damn lot for some reason

I totally agree too. Just bought the Epix and for holiday I want Mexico on it. I understand it might be difficult to put all countries seperate, but now i need to install the compleet USA, Canada and others.

I really hope it can be split up, the suggestion seems to be good.

I would argue that the best solution would be to be able make a selection what states (US) and countries (Europe) you would like to have on your watch.

Totally down for a la carte usa maps. 72% of americans never move from the city or town (or surrounding area) they grew up at. Something like 15% never leave their state, traveling & stuff. I would only need CO & OR myself.

At the moment, I'm actually using the contours from OpenTopoMap with the base maps from OpenMapChest. They have matching regions, at least in North America, and the combination works decently well for me. But I'd like the option to use Garm's own Topoactive maps with smaller regions.
