Freeze when unblock via pattern

My Fenix 7 freezes/crashes when I try to unblock the watch via the pattern down+back. Then, it does not respond if pressing any button o touching the screen.

It is easy to reproduce the issue. Just block the watch, then unblock it, at anytime and in any screen and activity. Always happens to me.

I run firmware 8.21.

If you need more details to understand the issu, just ask me.

By the way, some tip to fix it?

Sounds a bit like the problem I have too. Although I use different buttons to unlock and I am not able to reproduce the problem myself. The watch freezes and only responds to long pressing the light button. Than most of the time it does not want to boot and hangs on the startup screen. After a while and a few times of forced shutdowns and startups it normally boots and functions again. Super annoying!

I do a correction in my description. The pattern to block/unblock the watch is just pressing down button. The problem comes when I try to block/unblock the watch pressing down+back, as I explained before in this post.

The back button is not mapped in the pattern menu.

It really would help folks to understand if you would use standard terms to describe your issue. There is nothing called "block/unblock" in the Fenix 7 manual. Did you mean Lock Device, which locks keys and touch screen? Otherwise, point to exactly what you mean in the Fenix 7 manual or Garmin site. There is also just a touch screen lock but I don't think you mean that.

There is nothing called a "pattern" in the Fenix 7 manual. Did you mean you assigned a Hot Key to Lock/Unlock Device, and that hot key was "Hold Down"? Otherwise, point to exactly what you mean in the Fenix 7 manual or Garmin site.

If I guessed right above, does the lock work (shows a lock on any button press)? But you're saying holding Down again doesn't unlock?
