what activity for Nordic Walking in Fenix 7?

Hi,

I wonder what activity available in the Fenix would be the closest to Nordic Walking.

Unfortunately, Garmin does not have the original activity for walking with poles (Nordic Walking), which is a pity, because many people train this discipline.

I know you can copy the usual "walking" and change the name, but does anyone have another suggestion?

I don't really see why it would need to be any different than the normal Walk activity, what are you looking for it to do differently?

If you're worried about calories being different, don't worry, they won't be.

And if you're worried about the step count being wrong because of the poles, don't worry about that either, because the step count will always be wrong when you use poles, regardless of what activity you pick. (That's a problem for us hikers/backpackers/snowshoers, too... it just is what it is, that's the nature of a wrist-based pedometer)

Use with HRM-PRO nordic skiing activity and change walking. You get power to nordic walking. Sync to Runalyze and use there nordic walking sport type for logging etc.
