Which indoor bike with Fenix 7

Hi,

i want to buy a new indoor bike. Does anybody have experience with connecting the Fenix 7 to the bIke’s sensors?

I am searching for a bike that not only sends cadence and power, but also is capable of receiving the resistance from the watch in order to use the Smart Trainer functionality of the watch.

Is this only possible with ANT+ or does the watch also support BT? I already tried a IC7, but this bike only sends cadence and power. Then choosing the smart trainer option the watch Scans for sensors but does not find anything suitable - without giving me a hint what is is searching for,

The cheap stationary bikes with power is crap IMHO. I was searching it year ago. Finally I bought Tacx Flux S and old bike for great price. I'm very satisfied with that. You'll get full compatibility, and all metrics.

The watch is able to use ant+ and bluetooth. Used both with multiple devices without problems. So in general the watch will work with every device which is using the industry standard. Not every Bike (or power meter) is able to control resistance and is "just" able to give you your currents power value

Thanks a lot for your answers. I’d like to go with a „full“ bike. There are lots of bikes which send the relevant data. But which bike is really compatible with the smart training option?

Every Bike which is not doing something special and will use standards, nearly used by every company will be. I have not looked into bikes, because i find them unhandy if not used. So if you just want names and not a general "compatibility guide" i could just say the kickr bike, because it is ne only one i know :-D
