Map Manager Problems on 7X

The map manager on my F7X tells me there are updates for the CourseView maps and when I try to install them using WIFI with my phone plugged in they always get stuck at 95%. Garmin express tells me that I have the latest version of these maps. I have even tried re-installing them but each time map manager on watch tells me there are updates, queues them up and again progresses to 95% where it gets stuck. Anyone else running into this issue? Any suggestions such as deleting them manually from the watch etc?

I figured this out from reading another user's posting. You should go into map manager on your watch and delete the queued and partially downloaded maps until the status of of the maps simply states…

I have the same problem with the watch map management, always stuck at 95% progress.

I had to use the map manager on garmin express on my laptop. When deleting and re-installing it went away. When updating from the app on my phone it always got stuck like yours

I figured this out from reading another user's posting. You should go into map manager on your watch and delete the queued and partially downloaded maps until the status of of the maps simply states "Update Available". At that point go into TopoActive maps and pretend to download a region. When you do this MapManager synchronizes it's revision information with the server and when you return to previous menu there the "Update Available" status will be gone. I tried this yesterday and it worked. It seems MapManager does not properly synch with the server until you manually go in there to download a region.

That cleared the queue status and then no updates are offered anymore. Each switch between USB and solo takes minutes. Often freezes so have to hard reset the watch, then the Windows app crashes too. So it's a troubleshooting for days. I'm trying to update for years so far without success.
