Why are my settings not reflected in Fenix7 ?

I am a Fenix7 user.
When the system setting for distance unit is set to kilometers, every time I finish a run using the Run activity on the watch, it shows on the dial that it is a new record for miles.
I can live with that if it really is a new record, but since I am running at different speeds each time and it shows it, I don't think there is actually a record for miles on the watch.
I think this is a bug and should be fixed.

Also, I connect my RD pod when I run, and when I finish a run and the dial tells me to disconnect the RD pod, it shows up every time, even if I set it not to show up the next time. Please fix this too.

The watch will tell you if you break a record, so if you've run your fastest mile then it will tell you that, I get the same if I run a faster KM when set to miles.

That's not what I'm talking about.
It doesn't matter if I run fast or slow, every time it says "you set a new record for the mile".
That's a bug, right? Don't you think so?

The fastest mile is a record that is in the list irrespective of whether you have settings to statute or metric. You can remove the mile record from Garmin Connect:
