Fenix 7x Saphire Solar 2 Months Old Menu/UP button not functional - not acceptable and Customer Service does not answer

Hi Folks

My Fenix 7x Saphire Solar was recieved from the garmin store in march. 2 months later the menu/up button does not respond! It broke without having been touched after the watch was not used for several Days. Customer Service does not answer my Mails or anything. I cant request an RMA because when i enter my serial number it says Serial number does not match records.

I mean what the hell Garmin. I paid for a 1k watch and it breaks by itself and i cant contact customer service or get an RMA???

I soaked it in water and did everything possible - nothing.

  • This is strange. Do you have your receipt from Garmin? I just checked my account on www.garmin.com and the order for my Fenix 7x Saphire on 18Jan2022 is there. I am sure yours is also. If you are in the US I find it best to call them at 1-800-800-1020

    I have always had a pleasant experience when talking to them on the phone. Last time I had a problem I took a video of it and uploaded somewhere they could access, for me it was google drive, so they can see the problem.

    They also have a rapid replacement program where they will send you a replacement before you send yours in. You have to pay for the replacement but you get it back when they get your old watch. I have used this in the past and had no issues.
