Garmin Fenix 7X -insufficient memory and no updates

Garmin Fenix 7X - my watch is 1 month old and notes ‘insufficient memory’ when attempting Wi-Fi sync. It shows 19mb storage, I have not loaded any additional maps or music files. It’s stuck on 7.35 and states no updates. My wife has a Fenix 7 with no issues and updated today to 8.21. Any suggestions, really frustrating?

    I am sorry there is an issue. Since you did not mention loading your watch full of music or other maps, having only 19mb of memory doesn't add up on the logical side of things. It sounds as if files were loaded to your watch that should not be there. After you clear the folders that are safe to do so, you should be fully working properly again.

    I have the same problem. No music, or additional maps- 19mb storage left. Stuck on 7.35 and states no update. Did you fix the problem?

    Hi.Partially. Garmin sent me a private message with specific files to delete. This fixed my syncing problem and then it updated straight to 8.21. However I still only have the 19mb storage issues. Send a message to Garmin and they will send the instructions for deleting rogue files.

    Could I please request a copy of these instructions as well? - I think I'm having the same issue.
