No elevation (contour) lines on Garmin built in TopoActive Europe

TopoActive Europe don't have contour lines. They never have.

I miss the contour lines...Thanks mate!

P.S. I've just shared at https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/ with Garmin that users like me are missing elevation (contour) lines from the TopoActive Europe maps.

You can upload contour line map(s) from free Garmin osm sources and enable them together with the TA Europe map on your device. For example:

I confirm, this works just great, download the Contours file, un-zip it and add it to the Garmin folder, the only problem is the contours lines are hard to see, as they are a light orange colour

 Having spent a fortune on this gadget I expected not to have to add these contour lines from an external sources. If you agree, please send feedback to Garmin using https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/. Thanks 

Hi I have the same Topo active Europe maps as yours on my Fenix 7x and in the UK there are contour lines showing, there is a setting in the map settings to turn contours on or off.

Hold the middle left hand button in to go into settings scroll down and select Map , you should then see an option to select Contours show on or off.

Didn't indicate in my OP, but I have toggled on to show contours. It appears some regions/countries have those contour lines available in the Garmin built in TopoActive Europe map.
