Some data erased after update (final release)

Hi perhaps it can help Devs, I heard of a few people who complained data-configuration loss / most of the config data deleted when updated the watch with final release to 8.18 (alarms, watch faces, shortcuts, other customizations...). Apparently only when updated occured via the watch.

It never did it to me with any of the betas (and can't test now since I'm on the 8.18 already...)

Just in case...

So 8.18 release candidate version is the same as the officially released one? I updated my Garmin Fenix 7 couple of days ago with the candidate version and 2 days ago the official version came out. When i check in Garmin express it's 8.18 version.

How can i make sure that the version i have is good or same as the official one.

I posted this in the wrong place (will cancel and move to the beta programme).

Anyhow to answer your question..if you never downloaded the beta files and uploaded manually from pc to your watch etc...be sure you got an update to 8.18 that's final.
