Strava live segments and climbpro issue

The attached image is from the 2nd climb, where strava live segment was also active. Basically, the climb pro screen does not show any progress and the distance displayed also makes no sense. The screen was taken approx 1km before reaching the segment's high point

I have also found a relevant issue for v7.35 reported 2 months ago. I am using the latest beta F/W

Climb pro is needed for all segments too.. no need only fpr navigate..its needed for every segment with climb garmin or strava. Like garmin edge 830. Add all climb pro for all segments. Best hardware best watch and ?

I have also reported it to the customer support and they replied that they are aware of the issue.

In general, once a Strava Live segment kicks in, Climb Pro stops tracking elevation changes it seems. The overall elevation profile is also impacted but the altitude is still recorded correctly. See my post for more details. 

Hi. I saw your post after I had created mine. I sent an email as well to support and added both mine and your link. Waiting for a response. However I see yours is 2 months old and not resolved. Hope they do something soon 

Unfortunately too few people seem to be using Strava live segments for this to be high enough in priority. My post didn't get any responses at all. Previous posts concerning live segments didn't get many responses either. 

This isn't just about strava segments. Have you tried garmin segments as well? They should solve it completely for both ... Both the garmin and the diet.

Yeah, I think on device there is no difference between Strava live segments and Garmin segments. They all handled exactly the same way.
