TopoActive Maps Cannot Be Downloaded (RESOLVED)

I have a new Fenix 7 SS. It came with North America topo maps and it showed other regions I could install. When installing the Europe topo maps my watch got disconnected from Garmin Express. Now I cannot see Europe and other regions anymore in Map Manager. I completely reset and paired the watch to no avail - still cannot see other regions beyond North America. Any idea how I can see other regions again? 

  • I’m in the UK with a brand new fenix 7x and I am having the same problem.

  • Same iussue for me with my Fenix 7x.

  • Just contacted the customer service of my retailer and they advised me to send it back.

  • I highly recommend you don't go through that inconvenient process but it is up to you. The issue is NOT your watch and the issue will be resolved.

    I can see all TopoActive now on Map Manager on Garmin Express.

  • Thank you. I can confirm that the problem is fixed. 
    The mapmanager on the device now lists all available maps again, after once pressing + icon.
    For test i removed the Central Europe map.
    On the device you can only add the complete map of europe. So I plugged it to my computer and opened garmin express.
    It shows all available maps now again.
    On Europe I can click on "change region" and select Central Europe. 
    This is 6.4 GByte, so it allows to add other regions on the 16 GByte models.
    It was on my device in a few minutes (20 MBit/s download) 
    After that I tested it on my device and it seems to be ok.

    One little thing still irritating: I got the message on the device for the TopoAcitve Euro "Update available", though  I had installed a few minutes ago. I pressed again install and it pointed that it requires more memory. Ok. But why did the devce prompt the "update" message? After checking this uninstallable update I am back in then list of installed topo maps and  the update message has been disappeared. So this might be a minor issue. I hope an update of the Central Europe map will be prompted on express next month.
