Turning Display off

Is there a way turning the display off and just activating it after I pressed a button?

I don't look at the watch tbh besides doing exercises and I like saving unnecessary battery use.

Turning display off would not save much battery life. The battery is used only when any pixels on the screen are changed, which typically happens only once per minute. If there was a static image on the screen the battery wouldn't be used at all.

If you want to save the battery, use a simple built-in watch face without seconds.
