Please add Aviation functions to Fenix 7X like on Tactix 7 PRO

You bought the watch as advertised, not what could come in the future.  Did you not see the beta for the 7 Series?  They're not going to add a specific feature that's designed to help sell the Tactix 7 series to another watch (think the Instinct Surf and the regular Instinct getting the Surf feature, the Surf watch would not sell as well), so stop asking for it.

Sell your watch and get the Tactix if you want that feature so bad.

You have your opinion and I have mine. If it's ok for you I don't care about it. 

I would agree if Tactix 7 and Fenix 7 were out at the same time but it is not the case. Garmin should at least provide a roadmap but not making your 2 months  watch obsolete especially if you wanted this function and Garmin told it is only on Marq aviator. 

My opinion is that your opinion is useless. Want Tactix 7 features? buy a Tactix. Dont come crying to the forums about whY GaRmIn ShOuLd bLHa Blah blah.

While it would be great if they added aviation functions to the F7, I wouldn't be expecting that to happen. It's never been an aviation watch, and it was not marketed as an aviation watch when we bought it; they have other watches for that, including the new Tactix 7. If you need aviation functions, then the Fenix 7 was not the correct watch to purchase, there have always been (for years now) other aviation models to pick from, it's not really Garmin's fault if the buyer picked one that doesn't have it, and wants it now.

Agreed. Garmin, please also add ballistics, public land maps, tactical features, scuba dive tracking, LTE and 5G, unlimited battery life, an ECG, defibrillator, camera, and a submachine gun. This should all be included in the next software update. Also please lower the price to $450 and make the watch 40mm. Thanx! <3

Volker, I like you very much and it has been some years you are on the forum but when I was the only one speaking about GPS accuracy on Fenix 5x Pro, the drunk man syndrom etc... You had the same speech... Everything was fine and we were the ugly guys never happy. However, maybe our feedback was helpfull for improving product and we are having now an accurate GPS.  Maybe you have an interest not giving constructibe feedback but my only interest is to improve product of this brand for its customers. 

If Garmin was listening to those people in this thread, we would had a plastic watch with a garmin stickers and just having an inaccurate time for 1500 euros. Hopefully Garmin is using its customers feedbacks. 

Like Henri Ford said, if I was asking my customers, they would told me they wanted a faster horse. 

I love this request. I bought my Fenix7X Sapphire for hiking, but as a pilot, would LOVE to have the ability to load aviation maps and have some aviation functions. The last thing in the world I would ever want is to load golf stuff. Worst feature ever in my opinion. Why do I need to buy two watches?

But I will say, I wasn't EXPECTING aviation features, I'd still like to have them. I bought the saffire for the extra memory, why not let me download the maps?

What would the point be of the tactix line then? If you want those features pay the premium for the tactix.
