Developer Mode Battery Monitor

Something and exciting for me - The Developer/Debug mode in the latest 8.13 Beta has a toggle for a realtime Battery Monitor.

It stays as an overlay on the screen, so you can see what various actions do to the battery draw in actual mA units.

Even more exciting for me, it also seems to confirm that the battery does indeed get charged by the Solar cell, as the value goes from 'negative' mA to 'positive' mA in sunlight. A particularly enthusiastic or industrious person (or just someone with enough time) might even be able to directly calculate a Lux vs mA value for the solar cell!

I'm not seeing it in the developer menu though on 8.18. Are you saying you see it?

Mel_ODQA, I don't suppose you'd be willing to comment about what the two different mA.values mean on the Debug Battery Monitor? The one on the left updates much slower, and looks to be some kind of average?

I've just managed to get into dev. mode on my watch running fw 7.35. Actually, you have to jump into about where the unit ID & fw version are shown.

I think they're talking about battery monitor. I couldn't find it in the developer options in 8.18.

You're right...I missed that part. Maybe batt. monitor is not available in prod. fw just in dev. fw.

I think they add a widget for previous models in beta firmwares. For fenix 7, it seems to be only in the developer menu. At least, it's something...
