I was wondering if I could transfer my tracks and POIs from my old Fenix 6 to my new Fenix 7 using Basecamp.
Cheers

Basecamp itself is glitchy and old, and often doesn't work as intended, but other than that... the Fenix 7 syncs with it as well as any other Garmin GPS device. I've made it it work okay.
But not on a Mac sadly. Have to boot into Windows to get Basecamp to connect to F7/Epix.
That's great to know. C.sco once had problems with the software, right? Ended up bricking the watch?
Hope everything got better
Thanks guys. Cheers

Well, the watch was bricked after using basecamp with it, as soon as I unplugged it, it wouldn't boot anymore. But I suspect, now, that the watch was defective and that was the reason. I have since used Basecamp several times on my replacement 7X without any issue.
For those that don't know, their is an Opensource program called QMapShack, Works on Linux, Mac & Windows. I use the Linux version, its very good, and transfers my GPX tracks, Wypoints etc to my Fenix & my Garmin 66i without any worries

As Basecamp is no longer updated and really quite old, this is a good alternative
I am still using basecamp with miy F945. I think it will be ok with Fenix 7. You cant delete track of course, but managing new POIs and building new tracks is still very easy.
