Jabra Elite 75t dropping connection after 20 min or so

I am running the latest version 7.35 on my Fenix 7x, today on my run, I would say consistently after 20 minutes or so, the connection would drop. I would then re-connect and it would be good for another 20 minutes before dropping. Is there something I can log to send to Garmin to help? Thanks!

  • Sometimes i have same issue. Although it tooks one minute to establish the connection in the beginning and during the run when connection is lost.

  • No issues with Jaybird Vista 2, since upgrade to 8.13 I've done a 1hour run and 2x 30mins walks with no drops. No drops on previous firmware versions also

  • I have the epix sapphire and Jabra elite active 75t and have had no issues. Fw 7.35. I had issues using them with my previous watch, fenix 5 plus, when my phone was also connected to the jabras. Then the music would breakup during the run as if it was still trying to connect to my phone. My workaround was to disconnect the jabras from any other device before a run. Maybe that is also a workaround for your situation 

  • Fenix 7 SS with Bose Sports earbuds - since upgrade to 8.13 beta lots of connection drops (watch on left wrist) - every 1-2min. With previous version far less (every 20min or longer). With the 1st firmware I (before 7.35) I had similar poor experience as with the current beta. I wonder if there is also a HW component, and not just SW.

  • Btw, I returned my Fenix 7 SS (REI.com - I purchased 2 months ago). Ordered a new one from Garmin website with 20% discount .. it says a 5-8 weeks wait ...has anyone received their ordered watch sooner or is the 5-8 weeks typically quite accurate?

  • thanks for that. One thing I will try on my next run is make sure the connection with my phone is removed as well. I wonder if that plays a role. 

  • I also have the 7 SS with Bose Sports Earbuds. Usually have one connection drop per run after a few minutes. After reconnecting the connection remains stable for the rest of the run (1-2 hours). Today I had 3 drops in 5 minutes. Firmware is 7.35. I reported that to Garmin but they could not reproduce it. I think it is a software problem. 

  • I have a 7X Sapphire (this reply applies to the original shipped version, 7.35 and the current beta version 8.13) and use the Jabra Elite Active 65t.  I have never had a dropped connection.  However, if they connect first to my Samsung S8 first I have to disconnect them before they will connect to my 7X.  Also, I have notice if they are connected to both my phone and 7X if I am listening to music on the 7X and then something comes through the headphones from my phone it will lose the connection to the 7X. I have not tested this to see if it is intermittent or is repeatable each time.
