7.35: GPS time sync not working

I've just tried GPS time sync on my 7x SS (7.35) and it works as expected.

Tried again in the train back home, this time it worked first try. 

I’m having the same issue, GPS red circle. Setting time via phone is just fine. Did a soft and hard reboot, no change.

I've had this occur randomly across all the firmware versions to date.

Interestingly, if you try and 'Save GPS Location' i stead, it'll.usually work.

Either that, or do a reset.

Certainly takes longer to get the time fix than it does to get a GPS activity fix but I've just tried this on my F7 and Epix (inside the house) and it worked fine. 

Not sure why it might be intermittent or not work at all. 

I have a fenix6 and I recall similar things happening to mine when I first bought it.  I seem to remember it staying red if the time was already very close to being synched with GPS time, like only a few seconds off, and then it would work normally after the time had drifted a bit more or I manually set it wrong by a minute or so.  And I think one time I had left the time adjust in manual mode and forgot to set it back to automatic, that caused it to stay in the red circle mode.
