Garmin Pay 2 cards, one showing black image

Hi,

I am on firmware 7.35 (7XSS) and I added two meastro cards. The first one is showing the card (with 4 digits of card number). I added another one and strangly, it shows up completely black on the watch.
Now, you might say; Great, because now you can clearly see which card you selected, because the 4 digits are very hard to read (Note that I am 51 years old ;-) ), but it seems like a bug to me.

I would rather see a feature that I can select a color or something to get them seperated from each other, but completely black seems to be a bug. Any one else has two cards? If yes, do you have this issue?

  • Hi, I also have a problem with two cards on my fenix 7. I can't change the card I want to use for the payment. Swiping on the display or the down button doesn't switch the card.

    I only can use the recent card I added via the smartphone app.

    Anyone has a similar problem?

  • I added 2 cards to my Garmin Pay (GP) during the initial set up of my 7x SS back in Feb2022 The payment with any of the cards has been working flawlessly. Cards were represented properly. In recent days I wanted to add an additional card using Garmin Connect (GC) on my Android phone and when selected GP there was a message telling me that my watch was not connected to GP and Bluetooth connection on my phone should be switched off then back on again. This made no difference and could not select the add new card option as the whole GP didn't open at all. Later while another try I was presented with the message something like "We are having server connection issues...". Maybe this is the reason why you experienced the above issue. I'm in Hungary and have just checked on both GC and my watch and can confirm GP is working perfectly. You might try to reboot both of your devices and see if that makes any difference.

  • Thank you for the input. I made already several attempts to delete the carts, reboot the watch, etc. Nothing of it changed the situation.

    The one I see on the display works without problem but there is no way to switch to the second, although on Garmin Connect both are present.
