Display for steps > 10 000

Hello,

On the main screen on my Fenix 7 Solar Sapphire I'm diplaying the number of steps I realize in the current day.

When this number is above 10 000, the display format is a bit strange. For example, in order to display 11500 steps, the value 11.5000 is displayed (with 3 zeros).

You can see that on the following picutre ("PAS" in french means steps") :

Is it a bug or something really wanted by garmin ?

It's a display bug. I think it was reported, it will probably be solved in next update.

I had a similar issue on my 7s but in my case with the heart rate glance, it was over 100bmp and after dropping to the 90's it added a zero, like 960bmp. Recording and graphs were correct so it was just a display issue.

Some bug polishing still needed for the F7 from Garmin for sure

I had same issue with heart rate, showed 967 bpm for 5 seconds or so and than removed one figure to show correct heart rate.

I would bet this is a widespread bug. In order to replicate you have to be on this glance screen when heart rate is over 100bpm, then when it goes lower than that a zero is added at the end.

It also looks like the graph is overlayed.

This might be related to the steps bug too.
