Battery problem

Hi, as subject, i have the battery level locked to 100% from yesterday. Already got a soft reset and on/off watch. Update today to 7.35 nothing change. If i plug to a usb obviously the system non charge the watch (i suppose, still show 100%) Any ideas? Tks in advance.

Hard Reset: Hold down your top left power button until your watch shuts off then let go once off (Test your watch further to see your battery percentage…

It will depend on your return period with Amazon. You will return to a vendor first if still within their return policies. When that is not an option or there are any issues with that process, your region…

I am sorry there is an issue.

Please try the following:

Hard Reset: Hold down your top left power button until your watch shuts off then let go once off (Test your watch further to see your battery percentage responds.)

If still locked at 100%, reset your watch through the System > Reset menu.

If the behavior continues, please reach out to Outdoor Product Support in your region.

Hi Chris, i've already try the hard reset, now i test the watch for the next couple of days. Tks.

It seems to work. Except that for 12/16 hours it stays at 100%. Whereas before, after a few hours, it dropped by a few percentage points. Could it be that after a few recharges, the battery has calibrated itself and is actually right now? Thank you. Sorry for bad english, i use google translate.

You should be good now. If the battery percentage continues to jump around or freeze for long periods of time, please do not hesitate to reach out to Outdoor Product Support in your region to warranty exchange your watch.

It will depend on your return period with Amazon. You will return to a vendor first if still within their return policies. When that is not an option or there are any issues with that process, your region's Product Support will be happy to warranty replace your watch for you too.

I've noticed the same problem -at least I think it's problem? Before downloading the beta, the battery percentage would tick down a few points through the course of a day, depending on usage. Which struck me as totally normal. But now, for example, I charged my watch early this am to 100 percent as I am traveling and it's stayed locked on that for almost ten hours. Normally, my guess it it would be 98-97 percent by now. If the beta optimized the battery even more, well, I am here for that! But thought I'd flag this as a potential bug too.

Maybe this is not a bug but kind of how it works. This may also be a situation that more people will see with more sales. Batteries doesn't have fixed amounts of %98, %99 or %100 or %0. Battery management system tries to estimate it using the voltage and maybe some other data. Probably you charged it and voltage output of the battery was above a level for a long time. As it is above the limit, it kept saying %100.

I remember I charged my Fenix 3 to %9 and pulled out the charging cable and went, out so that it makes the day. However, after an hour battery level was %10. After a few hours it reached to %13 or maybe %15. I saw such situation in my Fenix 5X too. Your situation may be related to this too.
