I have the Fenix 7 Sapphire edition with the latest firmware. Regardless of 'Do Not Disturb' setting and there 'smart notifications turned off' I still get all the notification which is annoying. I am on Android 11.
Anyone else?

Same here. Epix2 and iphone. The only thing DND does is muting the vibration. I am also wondering if it's how it should work or not.
I spoke with support on 5+ months ago, was able to reproduce the issue, and they confirmed this wasn't functioning properly. Since then nothing.
The System > Do Not Disturb menu is not very clear. I am sorry, I managed to get myself confused.
The Do Not Disturb option for Smart Notifications has two settings. On and Off.
Same here with Fenix 7 solar. Very irritating especially when you are in sleep mode and sleeping and it is going off! taking about a device that doesn't let you sleep. It reviews you sleep saying you didn't sleep enough when it is the cause of your lack of sleep
Hey Garmin Chris, I was wondering if you could could confirm if this is working as designed or is a potential defect?
Just to recap, do not disturb mode still shows smart notifications even when toggled off, but vibrations and the like are disabled as expected. I also just tested this in sleep mode and similarly I see the notifications even though do not disturb is enabled.
I can open up a ticket if that would be helpful. Thank you!

I am sorry you are all experiencing the issue. I am going to lock this thread since it was made 9 months ago and there have been 3 software updates since.
To be forward with you all, your issue is not on our radar at all. My concern is your issue is more likely a bug rarely experienced and there is an obscure combination of specific settings you have set on your watch that brings the bug out that you are all experiencing. There are simply way too many Fenix 7 owners for this thread to be so short if the software bug impacted every Fenix 7 owner. (Whether co-related to Android only phones or both Android and iOS iPhones.)
When you see this message, please make a new thread for using the v10.43 software. I will then post and will get all of you added into a new case that I will be happy to write and have escalated to engineering.
Thank you for taking the time to report your issue. We appreciate it.
