sleep tracking for shift workers

Apparently, the watch only tracks you sleep within your sleep schedule. Try setting up that schedule in the morning when you will go to sleep and see if it tracks your sleep correctly. 

Set start time at 00:00 and end time at 23:59 and see if that helps

Had the same problem and found this solution for me:

I set my sleeping time schedule to 18:00-18:01 on all days. That way the automatic sleeping time table is almost deactivated.

I set a hotkey to activate the sleep mode.

When I go to bed I press the hotkey to activate the sleep mode. That way my watch records my sleep very accurate.

Go to the watch settings via phone or on the watch and there is an option "hotkey". Choose one or two buttons that have to be long pressed to activate sleep mode.

That's a good idea. I've also found the watch has no chance of getting your stats right unless the sleep time is manually started and stopped. @Rene

Does this work anybody? Seems an odd but logical workaround

I just realized it doesnt track my sleep during the day, so disappointed because the watch is so expensive! Im a shift worker and i want to know the quality of ny sleep. Does sleep mode track quality sleep ?
