Anyone's fenix 7 having issues swipe feature only working randomly?

Actually having two issues. 

First is the swipe feature only works randomly. It'll usually always work if I push a button first and then it'll scroll. At times it works perfectly. When it stops working then I can't even scroll down on a text message. I have then use the buttons. Like I said.. At times, it'll work perfectly. 

Second issue is that I can't adjust brightness. I can get to the screen and it'll change when turning it up or down but then as soon as I go back to main screen, it's back to the stock dark setting it came with.

Talked to the tech dept and he was useless and quite rude. At the end all he did was open a ticket to which he couldn't expand upon as to what happens next.

    1, yeah, that happens with my F7X too. Firmware 7,24. I touch the display and backlight lits but it doesn't swipe until I touch a button.

    2, I think you're in sleep time and trying to set the general usage settings, or vice versa...

    I actually bought another one thinking I had a bad sensor. This one is the same as far as the gesture. The frustrating part is it works perfectly but only randomly. Ugh!

    I wasn't in sleep time. Double checked that. I was having this same problem with my first one and then suddenly it started working. Not working on the second one tho. It's like it doesn't remember the setting.

    For me usually it runs normally. However, sometimes stops in main screen. I experienced this with 7.24 and haven't seen this since yesterday. So probably some intermittent issue due to some settings.

    I also notice this during my sleep window (I have touch disabled for this), the watch already knows I'm awake and seems to reactivate the touch function partially.

    I think I'm having this problem now. I can't swipe up/down from the 'home'/time screen. Works on other screens though. I'm also the firmware version I'm on is 11.28

    I have a similar problem with the touch screen - in some places on the screen (where the data fields are at 6 and 9 o'clock on the dial) the touch doesn't work or work inproperly. I try the factory reset, software upgrade, downgrade, but without success..

    I had a similar issue where I couldn't swipe down to view my glances from my home screen/watch face on my Fenix 7x.

    Turned out my Glances were reset and empty so when I swiped down nothing happened. 

    Fixed by going to Settings > Appearance > Glances - then adding the data fields you wanted to view.
