Solar charging while switched off

Hi,

Do you know if solar charging is working while the watch is off especially with solar sapphire (7X) ?

I read the 6 Solar did, so maybe.

Yes, it does. Garmin actually says (and it makes sense) that it will charge faster while powered off. From the Garmin website:

Solar charging can take place while the watch is off.

⁴Solar charging can take place while the watch is off, and can yield greater charge from the same solar intensity than when the watch is on.
