fenix 7 wifi sync failed

I'm seeing the exact same issue.  Haven't figured out how to resolve.  

Based on my experience with my old F3 the issue could be related to WiFi channels. For more details you might see FAQ WiFi connection issues by Andrew Nugged posted on FB.

Maybe when the update is available for you, you can try it which should have a fix that might be related to your problem as per change log

Thank you for the quick answers, this might be it.. I configured my router to use only channel 11 for 2.4GHz (auto-channel for 5GHz)  and wifi sync seems work now.  i cannot say it for 100% but i think this was the issue.  

Did anyone get this figured out? I've tried setting the channel but this is day 1 with this thing and so far all I really want to do is yeet it out the window.

Error messages for days and for this particular one it just connection failed. No additional info follows.

I am having big issues with Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar connecting to WiFi.

My wife has a Fenix 7S and absolutely no issues.

Connection is all the type instant and stable.

Both are running on the same WiFi, already tweaked the wifi to maximum compatibility for 2.4GHz (fixed channel 11, 20MHz bandwidth, no 802.11ax).

Reading the other posts, could this be a hardware issue?

My Venu I just replaced had no issue on same WiFi ....

If the FAQ for WiFi connection issues didn't resolve your issue the only thing I can think of is to remove your WiFi network/-s from Garmin Connect app and add it again. One more thing...if you have 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi (separately) with same or very similar names that could also cause trouble.

Thanks ArionK, I will try to see if it is stable over a different name SSID. It is true that my network name for 24GHz was close to the 5G one.

It doesn't make any sense to be honest because clients connect to BSSID, that is the mac address of the network
