Fenix 7x sapphire solar lost data

For the 2nd time already, the fenix 7x sapphire solar itself pauses my walking activity at exactly 3 kilometers. After that, the history of data on steps, pulse, body battery and so on disappears from the watch. Tracking (both the training itself and all other indicators) begins only after resuming walking activity. As a result, data is lost both in the activity itself and in daily indicators in Garmin Connect. Data loss interval: from the last time you synced your data to Garmin Connect until you resume a workout that was paused by the watch.

Same watch, similar issue. When doing multiple activities one after another, the first one disappears from the watch. If the watch is connected to the phone, then the activity will be transferred to Connect app. But if not, it's gone altogether. I have several examples of this behavior. GARMIN, is there an ETA on the fix for this? Thanks

I think we need a little more information about the steps you take between each activity.

Are you saving each activity after you've finished each one? I've swam, cycled and ran in successive activities on numerous occasions since having the watch and not seen anything like this.

Before I get beaten up for saying this, I am not saying you are not having a problem because I don't. I'm just posting to say it's nothing I've seen but would like more information (as will Garmin Support when you contact them) so that forum users (and Garmin) might be able to see whether it's something you're doing or a problem with your watch.

@philipshambrook - you're absolutely right, this is a valid point. As I stated above, it happened to me twice already that an activity has disappeared from the watch when it was followed by another. I did save the activities every time and looked at their details (because the watch is new and I wanted to see what they looked like). In the second case, I even got some records in the running speed per mile and 5k, these records remained in the watch, but there is no corresponding activity, as I followed the run with a strength type of activity. It almost feels like the following one rewrites the previous one, although that probably isn't what is happening in reality.

Same, it's happened to me today. I've lost all activity data since I bought the watch.

Luckily it synched to Connect before resetting itself otherwise I will have been irritated

Recently bought my first Garmin device (fenix 7x solar sapphire). i notice few laps of my walk distance is lost in the map i could not see my walking marks as well. thoughts ?

Today I was in a Bike activity on Epix 2, after ~2.5 km i got the power save countdown (didn't know what it is), let it go through, then i saw my activity was stopped. I started another Bike activity. When I finished, I saw my first one was lost from watch or garmin connect.

No idea why I got the power save countdown, I was not stationary.

@dragosmr, that's normal behaviour. The power save activates when you select an activity and don't press start within certain predefined period of time.
