I currently have a Schwinn ic4 / bowflex c6 spin bike that I use with the peloton app. The bike measures cadence, speed, power, distance while I ride. I log the stats on an iPad using kinetic fit and then upload to garmin connect manually, but I hate this method because a. It’s a lot of steps and b. It doesn’t count towards my intensity minutes or badges.
I know that the bike can only Bluetooth to one thing at a time, so while I’m connected to the iPad I won’t be able to connect to the watch. My question is, if I buy external sensors, would I be able to broadcast relevant data to my watch at the same time? I know I can buy a cadence sensor but cadence doesnt do much in terms of data if it doesn’t know the resistance I’m working with or at the very least the “speed”. I’m just ignorant of what sensors are out there and what they can do for me.
